Cosplay part 2

Due to a very smart suggestion by my friend, Nab, i have decided to post up a picture of the characters sherms and i were trying to emulate in the Cosplay.


See the guy on the left with orange hair? He's ichigo. The guy i was dressed as. And the black-haired girl on the right of him? yeah that's Rukia. Sherm's character.

I wouldn't say we did a very bad job. On the contrary, i thought we were pretty alright. What do you guys think? haha

Being someone else for a day... COSPLAY!!

Despite my flu, i soldiered on to participate in my first ever Cosplay: Cosfest 2007! I dressed up as Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach. My girlfriend successfully potrayed Kuchiki Rukia from the same anime. Had so much fun!!

I also loved it that people would crowd around to take our pictures... and even approach us directly. The feeling's good!

yeap... so those are just SOME of the MANY pictures we took... we had so much fun... just that i kinda felt unwell towards the end. Nonetheless, i'll always fondly remember this first try out at Cosfest! Thanks to my darling for pulling me in, and thanks to Frank and Asuka and Michelle (tailor) for making this such a success for us! I LOVE IT!!

Heard i missed a lot of fun at Post Production Party... Damn. Well i'm glad for the guys who did enjoy it. hehe =) okay now time for me to crash. Goodnight~!

And it all comes crashing...

Yeap. Finally. I've fallen ill. After days of relentless stress, and bad habits like munching on salted peanuts, i've won myself an exclusive, state-of-the-art sore throat. Its features include affecting the victim's ability to think and talk. In addition, it entertains the victim with countless hours of headaches and drowsiness.

I visited my technician (doctor) just now and he gave me some tools to tune down the overwhelming effects of my illness. Same thing he says for the past 4 times i've visited him... "It's caused by the mucus flowing back into your throat..."... Either this doc is a bloody tape recorder, a doc with limited knowledge, or it's just that my body has no creativity in making me sick.

Well i'll take today to rest. ugh. Sigh. was supposed to host an event today. Feel really bad to disappoint ppl. Hope Emir's holding up well there.

DAMN GST!

Looks like together with prices of goods and services rising bcos of the GST, the biddings for my modules went up too. It used to be around e$20 ~ e$25 for courses.. but now, things have changed. we're competing with many more students for limited classes... and mind you, these students are bloody big spenders. Now i'm like bidding over e$40 for one particular course. insane! the only time i did that was for my Spanish module. Ugh bad memory.

Well i'm crossing my fingers and toes that i get the courses, or else i'll get another round of headaches. and i hate headaches. headaches make my head ache, leaving me with an ached head.

so far i've had good start to the day with a nice jog. think i'll be able to pass my IPPT this time round. i want $$$$!! hahaha.

One down, one more to go.

Phew... today's presentation went pretty well. Prof loved it. When he said that our presentation is the best thus far, a huge wave of relief engulfed my heart... followed by another wave of glee. Hahah.

I wanna thank my groupmates for their hardwork: Manpreet and Pey shyuan. Thanks guys. awesome stuff. I've been blessed with great teammates. But u know, grades ain't everything. Friends are. So to my new found friends, Manpreet and Pey shyuan, i embrace thee. haha.

U know... i just think SMU's grading is unfair. I'm not complaining on my behalf. But for Pey Shyuan. She is so diligent and so committed to the work... and she does so much for the team... and yet her participation points are not reflective of her quality. I'm not isolating her case, i'm speaking in general. Haven't u had a project teammate who is so invaluable, but because he/she does not participate in class, or does not appear to be too active, fall behind in overall grades? It's just not fair for them...

Oh well... i got one more project to go. So i'm gonna be INSANELY busy the next few days.

In case you wanna know what course i'm taking, its Social Media and Communications Across Asia under Prof Michael Netzley. I urge those of you in comms majors to take this course if it's offered in th future. It's so insightful, somewhat fun and the prof is a nice guy. And no, i don't get participation points for saying that. ;)

SHIT!! (bird shit, to be exact) & Lame Riddle #4

I was speaking to Chloe (no not my dog. A friend from Lao Jiu cast) and she accused my blog of being "not delicious enough". Chloe i think it's fair that you know that you know u have incurred the wrath of both my blog and me... don't make me reveal ur secret. Muahahaha.

Anyways i decided to "spice" up my blog by adding this entry about THE most disgusting i ever put into my mouth. It all happened sometime in Year 1994 when i was still pretty much a kid, living in a terrace house (ahhh how i wish that was the case now) at Faber Terrace. Now the thing is, birds kinda like to make occasional pit-stops in my kitchen.

So one day i went to the kitchen looking for something to eat. My eyes caught sight of the loaf of bread on the counter. Perfect. I went to the fridge, dug out a jar of strawberry jam. With great effort, i opened the jar lid and started to use a knife to spread the jam on my bread. Now as u know, guys can't win a cleanliness award to save their lives... i got the table messy with jam. And as you also know, the word 'Hygiene' does not exist in kids' vocabulary (really, go check the kids' dictionaries!), and so i scooped up all the droplets of jam from the table and ate them. Until i came to this particular 'droplet' that looked a lot like the other jam droplets. I licked it off my finger... and realised... it ain't sweet. It was... salty. little bit sour...

That's when i exclaimed: "F**king birds!!"


So there you go... (esp to u chloe!)... That's a nice addition to my blog. Oh and i also agreed with chloe that i should come up with a shit-riddle while i'm at it.
